Everything riders need to know about Lyft’s ID Submission

Before requesting a ride, Lyft may ask you to submit the following.

ID submission: You will need to scan your government-issued ID. If you can’t provide a government issued ID, there are other options listed under “Accepted IDs”.

Take a photo of yourself: With this you will need to take and submit a photo of yourself. This will become your profile photo to help drivers identify you.

How to add a note for your driver on pick up on Lyft (video tutorial)

In this video we will show riders on Lyft how to add a pick not for their driver. On the home screen enter where you are going, then choose the type of ride you want. On the next screen click add note for driver. You will then be able to add note to make it easier for your driver to find you. Once complete click confirm and request.

How to opt out of Uber and Lyft’s arbitration agreement

How To Set Multiple Stops On Lyft (Video Tutorial)

When setting destination click the plus sign next to destination. There it will give you an option to add a second stop. Please make sure to limit your stops to three minutes. For if a stop is longer than three minutes it will cost you more. Doing multiple stops this way is actually cheaper for a rider. One thing we unfortunately see the most is Uber and Lyft passengers sending out request for their friends. Which is fine, however, if your friend is so intoxicated that can’t walk by themselves or have no clue what’s going on its best that you ride along with them to make sure they get home safe.
