Uber just recently made Klarna as a payment option for users on on the Uber and Uber Eats app. Allowing to order a ride or food and pay for it later.

Uber sent out emails to drivers in certain markets that there wait-time policy is changing. With these changes drivers will receive a higher wait-time fee if there is a surge in their area. Uber is also extending the no-show window from 5 to 7 minutes for UberX, UberXL, and Uber Green trips.

On Tuesday Lyft launched Women Plus Connect. This new feature matches women and non-binary drivers with more women and non-binary rider. The move is an effort to improve safety and encourage more women and nonbinary drivers to work with the company.

Uber announced in a press release customers will soon see video adds across the company’s various service apps, including Uber Eats, Drizly, and their ride-hailing app. The full-length video ads will play on the main Uber app while users wait for their driver to arrive. Uber announced on May 17th a new feature for teenagers that allows teens aged 13 to 17, to take rides without their parents or guardian present. This new feature was announced during the company’s annual Go/Get product event, with several other new services.
On April 26th Curri and Bluon announced they are teaming up to bring on-demand delivery services to Bluon App users.
