1. Know where the other drivers are
Use the Uber and Lyft rider apps to see where the other drivers are. If there are a lot around, you. Our best advice is finding a different location try to stay away from the pack as much as possible. Once you’ve been a driver for a while you will get to know the city you drive in, and where the hotspots are at certain times of the day.
2. Know what’s going on in your city
Keep up to date with what concerts, and events are going on in your city. Doing this will help with maximizing your profits.
3. Bad Weather
If you’re willing to drive in bad weather like snow or heavy rain. You have a great chance of increasing your profits. For there will be a lot less drivers on the road.
4. After Dropping Off A Rider
Once you have dropped off a rider find a parking lot or gas station to wait for your next request. Sit there for at least twenty to thirty minutes before you drive off. As we said before once you driven for a while in your city you will know if it’s worth waiting in the area or not for a ride.

5. Have A set Route
On slow days. Which you could have a lot of. If you drive in a smaller market we suggest you have a set route. We prefer to start at our house when going online, if in a good location this could be your easiest way to get trips out into the city.
If not go to your next stop for us we have four stops (gas station, shopping center parking lot, etc.). We like to at least wait 20 minutes at each one. Note make sure to hit every side of town, but at the same time not to drive too far-out.
6. Watch the map
Watch the map for hotspots and make a note of what areas have a high demand and the time they do. That way you can make sure to be in that area the next you are out around that time. For it could either be an area drivers really don’t hang out around or could be a busy part of the day for that area.
