How Does Hitch Work For Riders?
- Download the app.
- Enter your origin and destination addresses into the booking window.
- Then select the day, time and ride type.
- You can book anywhere from 60 days to 2 hours in advance.
Ride Options For Hitch Riders
Station-To-Station
- Meet your driver at a station near you.
- Prices start at $15 a seat.
- Ride with a window seat, every time.
- Over 5 departures a day.
Door-To-Door
- Desired pick ups and drop offs.
- Prices start at $85 a ride.
- Relax in the back seat, all to yourself.
- Over 10 departures a day.
Different Driver Types With Hitch
Going Anyway Drivers
Going anyway drivers type in the route that they’re planning to drive. The company will then attempt to match them with up to three riders, who the can pick up at set locations. Drivers will see how much they will earn on each trip along with choose to accept them or not.

- Up to $130 earnings one way.

Professional Drivers
If you sign up as a professional driver you will be given round trips and paid by the hour, at least $22 per hour. You’re also paid for the ride back, even if the company doesn’t schedule a ride for you.
Benefits Of Being A Professional Driver
- Long distance rides that span between 3-8 hours.
- Earn $22 to $30 an hour guaranteed.
- Claim rides up to 30 days in advance.
Driver Requirements For Hitch
- Drivers must be 21 and over.
- License, registration, and insurance.

Car Requirements
- Subcompact Vehicles are Not Allowed on the Hitch Platform.
- Compact Sedans must be less than five years old.
- Mid-Size Sedans, all SUVs, Vans, and Trucks must be less than ten years old.
