What is TreadShare?

TreadShare is a Carpooling app in Colorado designed to help decrease traffic and pollution. Users can use TreadShare to travel anywhere in the state of Colorado as long as the distance is more than 23 miles (one way) or 5 miles if there is a Ski Resort on one end.

Examples Of Trips Allowed:

  • Denver to Keystone
  • Dillon to A-Basin
  • Frisco to Copper Mountain
  • Boulder to Eldora
  • Denver to Boulder
  • Colorado Springs to Denver

  • Create an account.
  • Complete your profile.
  • Provide a payment method.
  • Then find a ride in going to where you want to go.

How Does Treadshare Work For Drivers?

  • Put in you start and stop location along with what time your leaving, and what day
  • You will receive a reservation request from a rider
  • You will have up to 24 hours accept or decline the request.
    • Note: Treadshare recommends drivers decline any passenger reservation requests made from profiles that do not have a clear picture.
  • Once you’ve accepted a reservation you and your rider with communicate your first and last names for safety reasons
    • Note: Treadshare recommends drivers and riders so their ID before starting trip to make sure they are traveling with the persons they booked the ride with

How To Become A Driver For Treadshare

  1. First download the app
  2. Create an account.
  3. Provide TreadShare a copy of your driver’s license and insurance.
  4. Drivers also have the ability to be background checked (driving record + criminal + sex offender) through TreadShare for $15, for a more trusted profile.
