1. Friends are rowdy
It’s not always the person who requested the ride’s fault that their friends are rowdy. But if they should not try to calm them down or take control of the situation then yes rate them low. However, in either case you should send Uber and Lyft an email on the reason you rated them low.
2. Rider doesn’t talk to you
Maybe the rider is having a bad day or has a phone conference they have to do while in the ride. Whatever the case may be there is no rule saying a rider or driver have to talk to one another. So, there is really no reason to rate either side low for this.
3. Didn’t leave a tip
We know a lot of drivers will rate riders low who don’t tip and yes it does suck when they do not. However, for us it isn’t a reason to give a rider a low rating unless they’re a complete ass.
4. Rider isn’t at the ping
It’s not always the rider’s fault when the ping sends drivers to the wrong location. There are some places like apartments where the ping will screw up.
