Before you can become a host and publish a listing on Neighbor you will need to verify your photo ID. Neighbor has this verification check in place to keep their community safe and secure.
Neighbor uses Persona to verify your identity. This identity platform ensures that Neighbor doesn’t store you identifying information for your safety.
How To Verify Your ID With Persona
- Have your government issued photo ID ready. You can use a driver’s license, passport state/country indentification card.
- Make sure you have access to a webcam.
- Visit your profile on the Neighbor platform
- Click private information.
- Under “Photo ID Identification, click Verify Your ID
- In the pop-up window, click Begin Verifying.
Persona will take you through the process of verifying your ID! after you’re finished, you’re ready to host.
