How does it work?
Delivery rides show up just like passenger ride request. It will just say Delivery as ride type. With Lyft Delivery you can earn by delivering multiple items to different stops in one delivery ride.
Picking up an item
When picking up an item you will need to park and go inside the pickup location. In the app you will receive instructions on where to pick up the item inside.
How are you paid for Delivery rides?
For Lyft Delivery rides, drivers will see upfront earnings and the ride details before they accept the ride. Drivers will get what was quoted upfront, even if the ride is longer or shorter than predicted.
Here’s how upfront earnings work
- When you get a delivery request, you’ll see the exact amount you’ll earn for that ride, expected time and distance, and a map view of the full ride.
- If you accept the request, you’ll lock in that earnings amount for the ride.
- Once the delivery is complete, you’ll receive your upfront earnings.
