1. Go To A Location With High Demand
To make higher earnings you will need more batches. We recommend going to a high demand area. These zones will have less competition and more opportunities that will allow you to make higher payments per batch.
Note: The Instacart app will show if your current zone has limited batch availability, and if there’s another zone nearby with more. Zones that are in orange or red are busy areas, with more batches available.
2. Be Selective With The Batches You Choose
- Wait to take orders until they make you about $30 hour.
- Stick to batches that are closer to the store to cut down on delivery time and open you to other batches that are close to the store.
- For the most optimal batches work in the morning, later at night on the weekdays, and around 10am to 3pm on weekends
3. Get Peak Hour Pay Boosts
During certain times on the day Instacart with offer shoppers a pay boost for each batch they complete. These times slots are very competitive. However, Instacart will let you see the peak times before selecting your shift so you will want to make sure to get one before they are gone.
