If an item shouldn’t be available when your Instacart shopper is shopping the order, they will pick the best item to substitute it with. Down below we will show you how to approve it.
How To Approve Substitutions For Non-Available Items On Instacart
- Tap the current order card at the bottom of the screen.
- Note: You can also tap the three stacked horizontal lines in the upper left corner.
- Tap your orders.
- Select your current order.
- Tap see shopped items.
- If you approve the change, tap approve.
- If you prefer another option, tap other options.
- Don’t see the option you prefer? Just tap chat at the top of the screen to talk to your shopper.
- When shopping is complete, you can tap see shopped items again to view all the completed changes and items in your order.
