A backup is an optional second choice item you can select while shopping on Shipt in case your first choice is unavailable. You can select one backup for each item on your order. These backups will be saved in your account for easy shopping on future orders. You can choose to remove them or set new ones.
How To Set Up Backups
- Add an item to your cart
- In the car, select Add Instructions or Add Note or Backup
- You will be able to select Do not substitute or Get a backup item
- Select from the items shwon below or use the search bar to find a suitable backup
- Once your backup is chosen, select Save at the bottom of your screen
