In this article we will show you three ways to add a tip for your delivery driver on the Uber Eats app.
Before Placing Your Order
1. After selecting your order items, follow the prompts until you reach the ‘Review & pay’ screen.
2. Find the section ‘Add a tip’.
3. Select the tip amount or tap other to enter a custom amount.
Note: You can change this tip amount up to 1 hour after the order has been delivered.
After Delivery
Once your order has been delivered, you will be automatically given the option to rate your experience and add a tip.
If you should tip after delivery, you will be emailed an updated receipt that includes the new tip amount.
Note: You cannot change this tip amount after you’ve added it.
In Your Order History
1. In your app, tap the Orders icon in the bottom menu bar.
2. Select the order you want to add a tip to.
3. Next to the tip amount, tap “Add tip”.
Note: You can add a tip up to 90 days after delivery. However, you cannot change this amount after you’ve added it.
