A Twisted Road host is someone who lists their own motorcycle on the online platform to allow other motorcycle riders to rent it out.

How To list Your Motorcycle For Rent On Twisted Road

  1. Take pictures and write a perfect description that provides an overview of your motorcycle.
  2. Set your own price per day. Make sure to be competitive with other motorcycle rental options.
  3. Modify dates where your bike is unavailable.
  4. Enter the days of the week when your motorcycle is available, and hours of availability for each day.
  5. Offer gear if you have it.

How To Manage Trip Bookings On Twisted Road

  • Respond promptly to accept or decline all rental requests. Do the same for request to extend or shorten a trip. In most cases, you’ll have 24 hours to respond.
  • Meet your guest in person and check out the motorcycle. Use the Twisted Road platform to verify the rider’s driver’s license.
    • Note: Twisted Road will offer you suggestions on how to verify a license.
  • Take photos of your bike’s pre-ride condition.
    • Note: You may not be covered for a reimbursement request or damage claim if you haven’t taken pre- and post- trip photos.
  • Avoid canceling trips unless it’s absolutely necessary. If you must cancel, make sure to do it as soon as possible and notify your rider immediately after.
    • Note: Twisted Road charges a fine to hosts who cancel with short notice.

Motorcycle Eligibility Requirements For Twisted Road

  • Complete 20-point insepction checklist.
  • All motorcycles must be registered and insured in the United States.
    • Note: Twisted Road accepts bikes from all states except New York.
  • Be insured.
  • Have a clean title.
    • Note: Salvage and branded titles are not allowed.
  • Have a market value of no more than $40,000.
  • Have a license plate, mirrors, turn signals, and be street legal
  • Motorcycles must be street legal and have two wheels.
    • Bikes not accepted:
      • Scooters.
      • Dirt bikes.
      • Three-wheeled vehicles (except for motorcycles with sidecars.
